Elmar Wiesenmueller writes:

"The band had to use the equipment of the support band WEED. No problem for the boys, the guitar sound was old school slightly fuzzy - fantastic! The local technician did a great job, the sound was not too loud for the half packed venue ZECHE CARL. The setlist offered all the classics, including songs from Dan's solo albums. I liked cover versions like "Hush" (from BUFFALO NICKEL) and Bobby Womack's "All over now". My personal highlight was Dan playing and singing one title on his own. In order to play one more easy and slow song the band chose a blues theme - very boring. I hope to see them again soon - thank you, Dan & Friends!"

This report was sent in by Ben Lensing. Thanks Ben!

"Great show, jammed crowd, nice venue, what more can you get at a november- tuesday- night?!
Zeche Carl offers a nice hall for Dan & friends, who where all in good shape and mood (Dan, Mauro and Ken with an cold, but nevertheless still hard kickin`and rockin`).
Playin`all the Satellites Classics plus some goodies like "Six days on the road" (Ken on vocals), Dans new fav. song "Helpless", they rocked the hall and had to give three encores before Dan says "get the fuck home!" while the crowd still cheers for more.
I`ve seen Dan with "Friends" & the Dusters quite a lot- yesterday they played one of the orgastics gigs i`ve ever seen (ears still ringin "fender- sweet"!!).
I´ve you got the chance- catch them while you can!!!"

Ken tuning up and getting down!

Check out the hat! Now THAT's really working for Keith! ;-)
