Aug 2005: Report from Denmark

Tomas Gustafsson made a couple of pages with pics from a gig in Roskilde, Denmark on the 18th of August. Dan Baird & Homemade Sin are playing a couple of dates in Finland as well, at the end of August, but I don't know when and where. Update (23/8): Tomas wrote that in the meantime they also played Odense and Aalborg in Denmark, and that they play at the Triumph Rock 'n Roll Party in Makasiinit, Helsinki on Saturday August 27th.

Jul 2005: UK Tour in October and new CD

A UK Tour for October has just been announced. See the Tour Dates page. To coincide with the dates, the band release a new live album package - Feel So Good - recorded at last year's Glasgow show. The album will comprise of two discs; the first being the highlights of the show including , I Love You Period, Nights Of Mystery, Look At What You Started, All Over Now and Railroad Steel whilst the second will be a limited edition fan club only release featuring some of the more eclectic selections including Eight Days A Week, Baby What You Want Me To Do, Another Chance & Helpless. The first cd will be housed in a limited edition cardboard gatefold sleeve (like the old vinyl albums of yesteryear) and available from all of the normal mail order outlets / websites The second cd will be available exclusively from the Jerkin' Crocus / Dan Baird sites and at live shows. There will be space in the gatefold sleeve to house the second disc.

Jun 2005: More Yayhoos news

On Tinfoil, there is another promo piece for all you Yayhoos fans out there, written by Tom Barnes. Thanks Tom!
Eric Ambel has written some news on the Yayhoos, too. Tom Hyslop posted it to the GS mailing list. (scroll on down in that message).

May 2005: How about that tour/CD?

It looks like there will be a short US (Midwest) tour in July, followed by a very extensive tour in Europe, in July-September. Please check these pages every now and then for the dates. Furthermore, a live CD and a Yayhoos CD are in production. Check out the Yayhoos news. As soon as I know more, you will too!

Mar 2005: David Letterman

Via connoisseur Chris Stanley (thanks, Chris), we can now offer you a fragment of The Late Show with David Letterman (January 1993). Three guitars and Dan singing a great version of I Love You Period. Chris also sent me some interviews, which allso will be added later in the Downloads page.

Feb 2005: Dan Tattoo

Now I know of devoted fans and consider myself to be one, but Rik 'El Cheapo' Martens even has a Dan tattoo on his arm. It's the infamous cartoon that was a.o. used on the Hippy Hippy Shake maxi. Rik also sent in some pics of the November gig in Aarschot. A while ago, but nevertheless.
