So, should you be so lucky to appreciate a gorefest like the new horror movie Slither (like I am), you are actually twice as lucky since you can enjoy The Yayhoos playing their song 'Baby I love you (just leave me the fuck alone)' on the soundtrack.

April 2006: All Dressed Up Evolution

On Terry's blog Ace Andres asked about the acoustic version of All Dressed Up (in mp3). Terry had this on his website some time ago. Of course, I grabbed when it was there, so here ya go. Interesting to compare it with The Yayhoos version (rm, click here if you have trouble playing realmedia files).

March 2006: Pre-order your CD now!

As David Huijzer pointed out (thanks David) you can pre-order your copy of 'Put The Hammer Down' at The Yayhoos official website. Official release is at June 20 but if your order now, your CD will ship before the end of this month. The new Yayhoos CD comes packaged in a super fancy non jewelcase digi-pak and makes an excellent gift for any true rock fan!

March 2006: Yayhoos website & tunes!

Check out The Yayhoos official website! So, I just listened to the album, and today NOTHING can wipe the smile off my face anymore!!! In my opinion 'Put The Hammer Down' is way more a 'band album' than 'Fear Not The Obvious' was. And boy, there's some good tunes on this one! WOW!

March 2006: Yayhoos Gigs & CD

From Roscoe's newsletter and Terry's blog I understand that the Yayhoos CD is at the pressing plant and that there are at least two firm dates for Yayhoos gigs!

February 2006: Yayhoos CD

From Terry's blog (Feb 1): "Hey! guess what! The Yayhoos record is DONE and mastered and all the hell ready to kick your ass! I've got a few on there that I'm pretty damn proud of. "Where's Your Boyfriend At" and "All Dressed Up" are classics as well as "Gettin' Drunk", an old one that just won't go away...I think it's been waiting for this version! I'm sittin' on the porch waiting for the Fed Ex man tomorrow!"

January 2006: Yayhoos CD & website

According to Dan, The Yayhoos are really, really about done with "Put the hammer down". 11 new tunes and 2 covers. Roscoe and timbo (engineer extrordinare) are mixing it. Roscoe's getting a Yayhoos website etc. put together as you read. Exciting hyperlink coming soon!
